This EP is my re-imagination of Messiaen’s soundworld and I had the most amazing time working on music that we as guitarists rarely get to touch. Throughout the pandemic, I found myself reading a ton of Murakami and obsessing over Dali and Basquiat’s work - I started to see something new in these pieces that I’ve loved for years and for some reason Messiaen’s music seemed to mesh seamlessly within these artistic realms. I tried to push the boundaries of what I was used to on guitar and explore new timbral possibilities while having some fun with sound design. I really love this music and I hope you enjoy listening to My Clock is Leaking!
