There are already many amazing recordings of the piece available but, despite my love for this music, I never felt compelled to record my own version - partly due to the daunting nature of the project.

Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was heavily moved by Dan Lippel's 2016 release of this piece and it inspired me to attempt recording my own unique version throughout the summer quarantine.

Drawing inspiration from African musical traditions, Reich's counterpoint pieces, Radiohead, Dan Lippel and countless others, I began the journey of creating an articulate soundscape that transports you along the ebb and flow within the steady groove of the movements.
